The following is a list of speakers who have participated in past events. The speakers here are the backbone of our events. Without the dedication and community spirit of all of our speakers our group would not be able to function.

Adam Morgan

As the Enterprise Search lead for Microsoft in the Southeast US for the last five years, Adam Morgan has been responsible for managing the SharePoint and FAST businesses and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Adam leverages over 18 years of technology experience to expand SharePoint awareness and adoption throughout the region and works with the product group daily to drive product strategy for SharePoint, FAST, market adoption, and best practices, and help customers achieve their goals with SharePoint. Prior to joining Microsoft, Adam worked as a Business Development Director for United Sourcing Alliance, as an Account Executive for Commerce One, and as a Management Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Becky Isserman has been a SharePoint Developer, since 2005 when she attended the Portal University with Levi, Ray, and Shoup in Springfield, IL. She is an Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD). She has been a web designer/developer since she was fifteen hand coding HTML 3.0 websites in NotePad. She enjoys working with SharePoint 2007, because she can perform the roles of administrator, developer, designer, and architect. She has presented at seven code camps, two conferences, and three user groups in the past two years. She currently lives in Olathe, Kansas working remotely for B&R Solutions. She lives with her two cats, Gambit and Rogue, plus her boyfriend, Johnny. Bonnie Surma serves as president of the Richmond SharePoint User Group. She combines her creative talents, love of technology and passion for end users/power users in developing out-of-the-box solutions in SharePoint. She enjoys networking with other SharePoint enthusiasts, connecting folks with “the experts” who have answers, and providing resources to the Richmond SharePoint community! Bonnie also coordinates a company power user group to build community and continue to increase the knowledge base of the organization.

Christopher Pragash

Christopher Pragash has more than 11 years of IT experience and has been predominently focused on Microsoft solutions. Under his current capacity as a Senior SharePoint Architect, Christopher has implemented portals based on Microsoft SharePoint technologies. His expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Technologies ranges from helping organizations translate business requirements into SharePoint solutions, building the solution, and training SharePoint administrators and developers.

Cory is a Solutions Architect working for Eastridge Technology in Winston-Salem, NC. He specialize in anything and everything Microsoft SharePoint with focus on mentoring, enterprise content management, migrations, line of business integration and best practices.

Dan is a Senior SharePoint Consultant & Evangelist. As an Information Technology Professional he has 10 years of experience in development, design, architecture, and administration. He now specializes in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. He enjoys public speaking, participating in the online community, and blogging about SharePoint.

Joshua carlisle is a principal consultant with B&R Business Solutions. He specializes in collaboration solutions based on SharePoint, ASP.NET, and the .Net Framework. He has been developing with Microsoft tools for over 13 years and with SharePoint since 2003. In his current role he works with clients to design and implement enterprise and commercial solutions based on the SharePoint platform. He is on the Triangle .Net User Group Leadership Council, the Raleigh SharePoint Developers Guild Leadership Group, active in many community projects, and can be found speaking at manu user groups, regional conferences, and code camps across the east coast.

Kevin is a Solutions Architect for Ironworks Consulting focusing on MOSS implementations and development at all levels. He has been working with SharePoint since 2005 and has implemented WSS 2.0/WSS 3.0 and SharePoint Portal/MOSS for many companies ranging from 40 employees to Fortune 500 companies with thousands of employees. He frequently travels to User Groups and Code Camps teaching SharePoint development and advanced topics.

Michael Gannotti works for Microsoft as a principal technology specialist wth SharePoint. Michael's very popular blog and webcast series extensively covers SharePoint and social computing topics. Michael can also be found on twitter at twitter.com/gannotti.

Michael Lotter, MCTS, is a SharePoint Solutions Architect for B&R Business Solutions, and travels throughout the United States implementing SharePoint and InfoPath-based solutions. He is an active speaker at East Coast Code Camps and user group meetings, and is a co-author on O’Reilly’s SharePoint 2007: The Definitive Guide. Mike Oryszak is a SharePoint consultant with Vaco Technologies and has helped to implement and manage a number of global SharePoint deployments. He is an experienced in many aspects of SharePoint and functions as an Administrator, Developer, and platform Evangelist. Mike has been developing web based solutions with Microsoft technologies for over 12 years and specifically with SharePoint since 2002.

Steve Pietrek, MCP, MCTS, is the Raleigh/Durham Microsoft Practice
Manager at Cardinal Solutions Group, a Microsoft Managed Partner, with
offices in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Charlotte. Steve is a SharePoint
Developer and is active in the SharePoint community through his blog,
public speaking at user groups and conferences, MSDN, and Twitter. He
has been working with the Microsoft SharePoint Products and
Technologies since SharePoint 2007 Beta. Prior to joining Cardinal, he
was the lead User Interface developer for 13 years at Exact Business

Susan Lennon is an independent consultant / Microsoft Certified Trainer. She has been an independent for eight years and has been working on US Navy projects during that time. The last six years have all been involved with architecting SharePoint solutions for the Navy. Susan has certifications as an MCT, IT PRO Database Admin, MCTS SharePoint ( all 4) and MCSD .NET. Susan is deeply committed to the development community and helps run three user groups in VA and is a frequent speaker at Code Camps and SharePoint Saturdays.
